Roof

The roof is an ordinary tar and gravel one, and its dimensions exactly match what can be seen from the road - and, likewise, the surrounding area is identical to what can be seen from outside the building. A number of thorny runners from the courtyard are poking up over the edge of it, but they’ve stopped at the railing rather than spilling over onto the roof, and they bear clusters of small, squishy, wet-looking berries that eerily resemble human eyeballs. The number of bird skeletons on the roof near them, not to mention larger bones and pieces of metal that appear to have been part of some yet unseen monster, attest to the fact that the berries are probably highly poisonous.

Looking over the railing, the dimensions of the courtyard are identical to those seen from the first floor, though the mist that gathers in it makes it difficult to determine much else. There’s a faint glint of metal that may be the open bridge on the third floor, but the ground isn’t visible. What is readily visible, however, is the heavily thorned leaves of the plants waving in the absence of any breeze.

At the very least, there are no effects from being near the plants, meaning that they’re not shedding anything - which, in turn, means that it should be safe to set up rain and dew collectors.
