Broadcast Information

In Montauk-1 Allende-18, characters will communicate over distances via walkie-talkie radios; however, what they'll be hearing over them won't always be messages from each other. Once in a while, what they hear won't even be from the universe they're in now. Additionally, there are a few buildings within the city that still have power, and some of them even contain working televisions. These are also able to pick up broadcasts from several universes, and while it's possible to identify that these universes are distinctly different from each other, it's currently impossible to tell if any of them originate from the universe the characters are in.

See the comments for a list of anomalous broadcasts the characters have picked up once they begin airing in-game. Beyond that, here's what you need to know to suggest one of your own.

What would you recommend as sources of inspiration?
Some good places to start are That Insidious Beast (particularly the Ghosts of Brier Hill chapter), SCP-093, and the Candle Cove creepypasta. However, any creepy broadcasts or ones where something just seems off - low-budget religious broadcasts, terrifying, balls-trippy old cartoons and children's shows, old Y2K hysteria - will work perfectly well as a starting point.

What sort of broadcasts are you looking for?
For television broadcasts, we're looking for things that seem normal on the surface - news programs, game shows, televangelism, and children's shows, mainly. If there are emergency broadcasts to be made, we'll generally write those ourselves. For radio broadcasts, we're mostly looking for talk shows, but if you have an idea for something cool, by all means, toss it in.

If we ask you to write a full script for your broadcast idea for either medium, it should be no more than 15 minutes long when read aloud.
